A moment of calm before we hit the road again.
One of our favourite wild camping spots so far. We pitched the tent under a huge oak tree by a river and the field mice kept us company during the night!
An old cobbled road which was a throwback to the bumpy tracks in Mongolia. In Germany we followed the Euro Velo 2, the capitals route which links Moscow with Dublin.
Ciarán wearing all his clothes on a cold and misty morning en route to Berlin.
Camping in a forest just outside Berlin. It’s getting too cold to camp now, we only have three season gear so the temptation to splash out on hostels is getting stronger!
We caved! Our bikes on a train from Berlin to Amsterdam.

Hi IQ! Thanks for visiting the blog! We loved cycling in Germany, but we picked a bad time of year for camping! It was freezing!

I can just imagine! I’ve been there in spring, and that was bad enough! 🙂
